I probably should give you some details so it doesn't get more frustrating. I set this up in the TAER order, so:
Channel 1 Throttle
Channel 2 Aileron
Channel 3 Elevator
Channel 4 Rudder
Channel 5 Mode
Channel 6 Aux1
Channel 7 RSSI
Channel 8 Arm
Aux1 is the left side slider, arm is SB centered or down, and mode is a combination of SE, SG, and SF as follows:
Mode 1 SE back, SG back, SF back
Mode 2 SE centered, SG back, SF back
Mode 3 SE forward, SG back, SF back
Mode 4 SG centered, SF back, overrides SE
Mode 5 SG forward, SF back, overrides SE
Mode 6 SG forward overrides SE and SG.
SH, while not part of the channel groups, when pulled forward announces battery voltage if you have S Port and battery monitoring setup.
Hope this helps.
Also note more channels can be added, but I modified this from a D4R-II setup that only supports 8.
