So here is what I came up with to get a switchable buzzer. This is all a ridiculous ‘work -around’ but I cant seem to get any answers.
The buzzer has attenuation hierarchy.
But mostly for system errors, warnings, alarms.
I noticed that when I was setting up for first flight, that putting the Flight Mode to Autotune while not in flight (and/or not in Leveling mode) the System Config would get a big red X thru it. That Autotune system fail is an “Error” in the AnnunciatorSettings.
So I set up the ‘AnnunciateAnytime’ buzzer to “Error” and the ‘AnnunciateAfterArming’ to “Warning” so that it still responds to low voltage.
In the Battery Monitor module I set the “Low cell voltage voltage alarm:” to 0.00v (off). The “Low cell voltage warning:” is set at the desired voltage. I set the Battery Monitor Module up this way so that i can connect to the GCS without a battery and make quick tweaks without constant beeping.
When my copter is lost in the grass, I can switch my Flight Mode switch to Autotune and it will Beep.
If there is a right way to get a switch to activate the DTFc buzzer PLEASE let me know.
