I just try to understand what's emulated by dRonin and how to properly use my OSD (mwOSD-1.6).
1/ PID screen : the only PID available are for ROLL PITCH YAW, the rest (ALT,GPS,LEVEL,MAG) seems unused, correct?
2/ Battery consumption : the OSD seems to aggregate instantaneous current figures instead of collecting actual consumption from the flight controller. I presume the "BATTERY" warning issued by the flight controller is offering a more reliable estimate. Correct?
3/ RC Tuning screen : the concepts here are vastly different from what I am used to on the GCS... RC_RATE,RC_EXPO, ROLL_PITCH_RATE, YAW_RATE, TPA, THROTTLE_MID, THROTTLE_EXPO: Are these settings actually linked to dRonin?
4/ Throttle PWM signal seems to be adjusted and does not reflect my 345-1705us PWM signal. At zero throttle, OSD displays 19% power. My guess is dRonin adjusts the signal, but would like to know the low/high values.
5/ OSD switch relies on a channel output forwarded by the flightcontroller. Given that dRonin seems to remap channels in a MWOSD friendly way, if I set MWOSD to use switch 5 as the toggle, what's fed by dRonin to this channel 5? Does it forward receiver channel5 directly or one of the accessory?
That's a lot of questions in a single post...
