Makes sense and would seem to explain the inherent left drift with the MPU 6000 off center to the right...
This isn't how it works, and I've noticed different directions of drift on the same board layout.
Vibration is weird, and you get standing waves in various places and resonances. Maybe a board with a center-mounted gyro is better for you on a specific setup.
Manufacturer guidance is that the sensors are sensitive to strain on their package and become nonlinear, and this means two things: 1) proper reflow technique, and 2) avoid the places with the highest strain on the board-- the diagonal lines between holes and most especially the center!
