First off, thanks to those who are keeping the tricopter alive and well. My two questions are:
Which FW is best for my current build using a Tricopter V4 by RCExplorer.se body and a Matek F405-STD FC? (I'm assuming I need to flash it with a hex that is dRonin GCS supported)
Where can I plug in the feedback wire from the BMS210 servo?
For background: I bought the V4 years ago, but was not able to start building it until recently. When I tried, I fried a chip (or several chips) on board the F3FC and my X8R Frsky receiver (on separate days). Nothing like seeing that puff of smoke rise up --- Instead of throwing everything into the trash, I grabbed a Matek F405-STD board, a 3A BEC and decided to mount them onto the V4 frame - with its ESCs, motors & a new X8R. To all this, I've purchased a FrSky Taranis SE ACCESS (2019) and am getting up to speed with its capabilities. I'd like to use the tail tune feature (which I never got a chance to use with triFlight in BF). Now, it seems that dRonin is the way to go, but I would love to land the feedback wire from the servo somewhere onto the Matek F405-STD FC.
Any assistance on answering these two questions would be appreciated. Currently, I have the following:
M1 spinning CCW with signal connected to S1
M2 spinning CCW with signal connected to S2
M3 spinning CW with signal connected to S3
The X8R is connected to the Matek F405-STD using sbus and smartport
I was planning to use a 3S 11.1V 1800 mAh LiPo battery
Thanks in advance for any and all support.
